อตฺตานเมว ปฐมํ
ปฏิรูเป นิเวสเย

ควรปฏิบัติตนให้ดีก่อน แล้วค่อยสอนคนอื่น
บัณฑิตเมื่อทำได้อย่างนี้ จึงจะไม่สร้างมลทินแก่ตัว

One should first establish oneself
In what is proper,
And then instruct others.
A wise man who acts in this way
Shall never get defiled.
