อตฺตานญฺเจ ตถา กยิรา

สอนคนอื่นอย่างใด ควรทำตนอย่างนั้น
ฝึกตนเองได้แล้ว จึงควรฝึกคนอื่น
เพราะตัวเราเองฝึกยากยิ่งนัก

As he instructs others,
He should himself act.
Himself fully controlled,
He should control others.
Difficult indeed is to control oneself.
